Hello everyone.
There have been many requests for a private home visit and I wanted to let you know what a typical visit would include.
In advance of the visit, the host arranges for Santa to get the gifts host provides into the Santa Toy Sack. Names written large on the packages for Santa’s old eyes see when he pulls them out. (Usually meet at the garage and make the transfer) This Toy Sack is left out of sight until Santa makes it magically appear.
Santa will knock at the front door, make a grand entrance greeting everyone with bells ringing as he enters the room, sit with the children gathered around and with help from one of
the children read a story. You can provide a special book, Santa has a few good books, or Santa will read from T’was The Night Before Christmas.
Individually the children will come up and tell Santa what they want for Christmas, which is a great time to take lots of photos.
Of course, everything will be done to make sure photos and videos with everyone at the party can be done.
Then he will ‘remember’ that his elves sent special gifts with him to give out, and present the gifts from his bag, usually asking for one of the children to help him make sure the right child gets their gift.
After the gifts are delivered, Santa will say that he must leave to visit some other special families and depart.
When planning for the visit, the host will gather any items, (gifts, candy canes, cards, etc) that Santa is going to give to the guests and place them in a waterproof bag away from the party for Santa to find. This way, Santa can arrive undetected, transfer all the things into his Toy Sack and enter ready to meet everyone with a full bag. Here are hints for getting the presents ready.
Since Santa does not handles money, it is strongly urged that a Christmas card be used for any payment amount needed.
